Major Interventions:
- To increase and strengthen the economical status of Dalit, women, Janajati and conflict affected group by means of providing quality seeds so to increase the production .
- Program Orientation training to the JT/JTA and SM: The program orientation Training to the JT/JTA and SM was conducted. In this activities newly recruited human resource were oriented on norms of project, implementing process and modality and rules and regulation of the organization too.
- Technical Training for Base Line Study: The Technical training for Base Line study was organized. The main objective was to orient social mobilizer, JT/JTA about conducting base line survey. In the technical orientation 24 participants were actively participated.
- Target Household Selection: On the basis of prior set criterion made by DDRC and FAO, 2800 HH have been selected for the support activities of project. After selection, baseline study was carried out.
- Technical training to the JT/JTA and SM(2 days training to the JT/JTA and SM on wheat and Vegetables crops): The two days training on the cultivation practices of wheat and vegetable crops was organized and 23 participants were participated. The main objective of the training was to refresh and boost up on the technical knowhow of these crops; so that, they may able to provide short technical orientation to beneficiaries.
- Technical training / orientation to the target households: The technical training /orientation to the target household were conducted about Wheat &Vegetable also orientation summer season composite packet of vegetable & improved verities of Maize(Manakamana-3). This training was given to the all selected 2800 HH of Jubitha,Odanaku,Kalika,Manma&Malkot .
- Seed Received and Distribution: The composite packed of seed weighted 840 KG (300gm/packet) was received and distributed to farmers.
